Network Deployment Specialist

As a Network Deployment Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Network Planning and Deployment:

   • Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements.
   • Deploy and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
   • Manage network capacity planning and scaling based on organizational growth.

2. Configuration and Integration:

   • Configure network devices and services (e. g. , VPN, VLAN, QoS) to ensure optimal performance.
   • Integrate network infrastructure with cloud services and data centers.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network integration with existing systems.

3. Monitoring and Maintenance:

   • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
   • Perform regular network audits to identify potential vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
   • Develop and implement network maintenance schedules, including firmware updates and hardware replacements.

4. Security and Compliance:

   • Implement network security protocols to safeguard data and prevent unauthorized access.
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.
   • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to enhance network security.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
   • Provide regular updates and performance reports to management.
   • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and update network policies and procedures.

To excel in this role, you should have the following technical and professional skills:

• Network Technologies: Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei).
• Protocols: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VPN.
• Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud-based network solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
• Security: Expertise in network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and access control lists (ACL).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
