Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Fixed Assets Management & Capitalization

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of experience to join its Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's Fixed Assets portfolio, ensuring management controls, accurate capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fixed Asset Accounting:
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of fixed assets, from acquisition to disposal.
• Ensure accurate and timely capitalization of fixed assets in accordance with Ind AS 16.
• Prepare monthly depreciation schedules and ensure accurate reflection in the financial statements.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and records.
• Conduct regular physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile with accounting records.
• Capitalization Reviews:
• Review and approve capital expenditure requests.
• Ensure proper documentation and justification for all capital expenditures.
• Analyze and evaluate the economic feasibility of capital projects.
• SAP HANA Experience:
• Strong working knowledge of SAP HANA for Fixed Asset Management.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining Fixed Asset Master data in SAP HANA.
• Ability to generate reports and analyze data related to fixed assets.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (Ind AS 16) and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
• Telecom Industry Experience:
• Prior experience in the Telecom industry is highly preferred.
• Understanding of the unique accounting challenges and requirements of the Telecom sector.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of Ind AS 16 and other relevant accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
