We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Project Head to lead our projects from inception through to successful completion. The Project Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional project management expertise, and the ability to align project goals with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership and Strategy: Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, and allocate resources efficiently to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Timeline and Milestone Management: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring critical milestones are met and addressing any issues that may cause delays.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure that all project activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality standards and ensure that deliverables meet all project requirements and industry standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed project records, reports, and documentation to track progress, performance, and lessons learned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- 2 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
