Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Maintenance & Breakdown Handling

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate for timely replacements.

2. Automation & Technical Support

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, HMI, and other automation systems.
• Assist in calibration and optimization of automated systems.

3. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain logs of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare part usage.
• Ensure proper documentation of service records, audits, and compliance reports.

4. Training & Audits

• Conduct operator training on machine handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to quality and hygiene standards.

5. Compliance & Hygiene Management

• Ensure adherence to FSSAI, ISO, and industry-specific quality guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the plant as per regulations.

6. Client Coordination & Support

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries.
• Provide remote and on-site support for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in field service, plant maintenance, or industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, motors, sensors, and control panels.
• Expertise in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to handle preventive maintenance, documentation, and audits.
• Good communication skills for client interactions and operator training.
• Willingness to travel to various plant locations as required.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in water bottling plants, food & beverage industry, or packaging machinery.
• Hands-on expertise in automation systems like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta or Schneider PLCs.
• Understanding of quality & hygiene standards.
