Job Description

Job Summary: The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling products or services to customers within a designated geographical area. This role requires developing relationships with clients, generating new business, and meeting sales targets through direct face-to-face engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation:
    • Identify and target potential clients in the assigned territory.
    • Actively prospect and generate new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, and attending events.
    • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and meetings to convert prospects into customers.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
    • Provide personalised and consultative service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
    • Follow-up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling.
  3. Sales Reporting & Analysis:
    • Track daily sales activities, leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on performance, sales forecasts, and territory progress.
    • Analyse customer feedback and market trends to adapt strategies and improve sales results.
  4. Target Achievement:
    • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
    • Identify growth opportunities within the territory and implement strategies to expand market share.
  5. Product Knowledge & Training:
    • Stay updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends.
    • Attend training sessions and sales meetings to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer support) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer needs and preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field sales or outside sales (B2B or B2C).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Valid drivers license (if travel is required).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not always required).
