We are hiring Design Manager Electrical for our company.

Experience -Min 5+ years in Design engineer . Preferably from solar/Renewable energy background.

Qualification- B.E /B.Tech , Graduate & PG.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To set Target oriented tasks to team in line with the project or tasks deadlines to achieve in time work completion.
• Understanding team strength for work allocation to get the same done very efficiently & time bound.
• Clear & understandable communication with the team with specific task requirements with timelines.
• Intervening & helping team members during the day for the delegated tasks to check upon the progress of completion maintaining quality & also as per the SOP.
• Responsibility of providing outbound commitment to internal as well as external customers & being abide to it for the execution.
• Shall be able to do contingency planning for getting tasks completed in pressure times by optimizing the resources available.
• Shall be able to control work allotted in relation to time required to get that work done. A very close monitoring is expected.
• To ensure correctness & Quality of Drawings, BOQ and Tech Specification, as per Standard Engg practice.
• Familiarity with Latest Design Codes, Specifications related to all engineering standards related (IEC/IEEE/IS) to civil as well as electrical works, equipments & goods.
• Estimation, Sales Support and tender works for new solar projects & Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from the Sales team, Design request support, client interaction and facilitating technical proposal as per client requirements.
• Shall ensure from team appropriate review & analyzation of the technical offers received from the vendors for the civil construction & electrical equipments for their parameters & be able to communicate the requirement as per design to the vendor.
• Responsibility for the management of all Design activities including Request for Quotations (RFQs), Design freeze / release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification/Product Validation (DV & PV) testing and Computer-aided engineering (CAE)
• Shall certify final discussions with vendor for all the proposals received & accepted technically.
• Responsible for the release of approved & certified IFC drawings in coordination with Customer.
• Drive forward product development, innovation and think outside the box to generate engineering advantage for customers, thinking creatively to develop new/improved solutions
• Identify and implement design improvements (functionality, cost, design for manufacture)
• Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required
• Be customer facing
• Embrace and champion continuous improvement
• Resolving Interface issue with Project, Procurement and Commissioning Team.
• Through knowledge of latest Test procedures (Geo-tech, Pullout/ Compression etc.) for Design purpose.
• Thorough knowledge of Industry statutory rules and regulation, as per standard work procedure and practice while developing drawings.
• Shall be able to certify detailed engineering of Civil, DC Side & AC Side including electrical switchyard up to 132 KV and BOS making as per IEC/IEEE/IS standard and system power schematic arrangements.
• Validation and Analysis of New Products and continual inputs for Design, performance improvement of system as a part of solar project to deliver optimized techno commercial System without compromising Quality & Reliability.
• Hands of experience on various software’s like PV Syst, Google sketch up, Auto CAD used in the designing of electrical system, Fault analysis, Irradiation & generation data etc.
