Job Description
Strategic Business Unit: WAAREE ESS Pvt. Ltd
Position – Manager-Sales (High Voltage)
Position Objective: To support the sale of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solutions (Stationary & Mobility Segment), assist with pre-sale solution design, and ensure a smooth transition to deployment. You will be working side by side with our main Sales and Operational leaders, enriching the technical content/messages to our customers.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. A Solution Architect for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) is responsible for designing, developing and implementing energy storage solutions that meet the specific requirements of the organization. They must have a thorough understanding of energy storage technologies, as well as knowledge of the energy industry and regulatory requirements.

1. The key responsibilities of a Solution Architect for BESS include:

• Analysis of customer needs: The Solution Architect must understand the customer's energy storage needs, evaluate their existing infrastructure and determine the best approach for implementing a BESS solution.
• Designing solutions: Based on the analysis of customer needs, the Solution Architect must design a BESS solution that meets the requirements of the organization.
• Technical oversight: The Solution Architect must provide technical oversight during the implementation of the BESS solution, ensuring that it is implemented according to the design.
• Project management: The Solution Architect must manage the project to ensure that it is completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Regulatory compliance: The Solution Architect must ensure that the BESS solution complies with all relevant regulatory requirements, including safety regulations.
• Stakeholder management: The Solution Architect must work closely with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and project managers, to ensure that the BESS solution is delivered successfully.
• Continuous improvement: The Solution Architect must stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends and best practices in the energy storage industry, and incorporate them into their design and implementation processes.
• In summary, a Solution Architect for BESS plays a critical role in designing and implementing energy storage solutions that meet the specific needs of organizations. They must have a deep understanding of energy storage technologies and regulatory requirements, as well as project management skills and stakeholder management skills

1. Regular visits to key stakeholders, e.g. govt. institutions, customers, vendors, etc. to discuss and understand the requirements and workout the best feasible technical solutions.
2. Technical Business Development

Education:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering/ Graduate with MBA handled Enterprise Sales in Key /Large Accounts.
• Master’s Degree in Marketing / Sales / Business Development (Preferable).
