Role Overview



The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Aligning marketing initiatives with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Bridging creative, social, content, and performance teams for seamless execution
  • Driving data-backed decision-making across all marketing efforts
  • Managing manpower and optimizing workflows to ensure timely execution
  • Owning marketing planning & execution with a performance-driven mindset

You will ensure that marketing strategies are not only creative but also performance-driven, with a clear focus on ROI, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with ZipCushions business goals and AOP.
  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable marketing plans, covering paid ads, SEO, content, and social media.
  • Ensure data-backed decision-makingusing insights to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign structure.
  • Lead campaign execution across paid, owned, and earned media channels while maintaining process efficiency.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration (The Bridge Between Teams)

  • Act as the central coordinator between Content, Social Media, Creative, and Performance Marketing Teams.
  • Ensure messaging, visuals, and performance objectives are aligned across all marketing channels.
  • Work closely with the e-commerce and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts drive conversions.
  • Manage workflows & approvals between teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns.

3. Data Analysis & Performance Optimization

  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, etc.) to improve campaign efficiency.
  • Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, Klaviyo, etc.) to measure success and identify gaps.
  • Optimize budgets and media spends based on real-time campaign performance insights.
  • A/B Test landing pages, creatives, and messaging to continuously improve results.

4. Marketing Automation & Process Optimization

  • Optimize marketing automation workflows (email/SMS sequences, retargeting, and customer journey flows).
  • Ensure streamlined operations and marketing efficiency by implementing SOPs for campaign execution.
  • Introduce marketing best practices to improve workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and scale growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Strategy, or Performance Marketing in an e-commerce or DTC brand.
  • Graduate from a top-tier college (Preferred: reputed institutions).
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with experience in Google Analytics, CRM systems, and performance marketing tools.
  • Hands-on expertise with marketing automation, SEO, and paid marketing strategies.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams & aligning multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle pressure and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a “get work done” attitude—someone who drives action rather than waits for instructions.
