Job Description: Elite Relationship Manager


Department: Branch Banking

Grade: Senior Manager

Location: Belgaum, Chikkamagaluru, Bellary


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Development & Expansion: Develop and expand relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) for liabilities, with a primary focus on Current Accounts (CA) and commercial assets.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Source new customers through external efforts, networking, and acquisition channels to grow the customer base.
  • Customer Service & Policy Adherence: Ensure a high level of customer service, adhering to bank policies while addressing client needs and inquiries.
  • Cross-Selling Bank Products: Cross-sell relevant banking products (such as loans, insurance, investments) to existing mapped customers to expand the relationship.
  • Product Awareness & Promotion: Keep customers informed about new products or any enhancements to existing products to foster stronger relationships.
  • Sales Initiatives & Events: Plan and conduct sales initiatives, special events, and seminars aimed at both prospective and existing clients to strengthen relationships and promote offerings.
  • Collaboration for Comprehensive Solutions: Work with other group companies to provide a seamless access point to a variety of products and services.
  • Relationship Record Maintenance: Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of assigned customer accounts and their interactions with the bank.
  • Customer Feedback & Satisfaction: Track customer complaints, queries, and overall satisfaction while ensuring turnaround times are met for efficient resolution.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Graduate with 4-6 years of banking sales experience or
    • Postgraduate with 2-4 years of banking sales experience.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong customer orientation and a results-driven approach to sales.
    • High energy and a strong motive to succeed.
    • Deep understanding of Trade and Forex and Current Accounts (CA).
    • Proficient in Commercial Assets, including CC (Cash Credit), OD (Overdraft), TL (Term Loan), and Export Finance.
    • Knowledge of Mutual Funds and Insurance is an added advantage.

Competency Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and other computer applications. Basic understanding of Business Banking and Trade/FX is preferred.
  • Behavioural Skills: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with fluency in English. Presentable with high grooming standards, ensuring a professional and polished appearance at all times.
