Site Engineer

Role

Responsible for overseeing civil engineering activities, providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to project

specifications, quality standards and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete work, and structural installations to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

• Conduct site visits to assess site conditions, soil properties and topographical features and to monitor progress, identify issues, and provide technical guidance

• Provide inputs on resource allocation, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project requirements and schedules

• Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure the quality of constructed elements and verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards

• Identify and resolve technical challenges, design conflicts, and construction issues and provide innovative solutions to optimize e project performance and efficiency

• Coordinate civil engineering activities with other disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers

• Identify and mitigate safety hazards and environmental risks associated with civil engineering activities and respond promptly t o emergencies or unexpected situations on site

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of CAD software, GPS & GIS systems
• Candidate must have experience in EPC construction industry
