Junior Civil Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of residential development project.
• Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data for delivery of a best quality construction project.
• Study engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and other infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate civil engineering requirements into overall project designs.
• Support project managers in preparing project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
• Conduct field inspections to monitor construction progress, ensure quality control, and address any engineering-related issues that arise during construction.
• Assist in resolving technical challenges and providing engineering support to construction teams as needed.
• Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in residential construction and civil engineering.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong academic background with coursework in site development, construction materials, structural analysis, and geotechnical engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Knowledge of residential construction practices, building codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• EIT/EIL (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred.
• Previous work experience in high-rise residential construction mandatory
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices.
• Must be in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
