Survey Manager

Role

Responsible for providing accurate measurements and survey data to support engineering and construction activities at

project sites by conducting surveys, analyzing data and ensuring precise layout and alignment of project elements according t o design

specifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys to assess existing site conditions, including elevations, contours, and natural features

• Analyze survey data and prepare reports, drawings, and maps depicting topographic features and site conditions

• Assess site suitability, analyzing topography and evaluating potential risks to support project feasibility studies

• Ensure accurate positioning and alignment of layout points to guide construction activities by using various surveying instruments to collect precise measurements

• Collaborate with design engineers and architects to provide survey information for design and construction purposes

• Assist in the layout and staking out of project elements, including buildings, roads, utilities, and structures, based on design drawings and specifications

• Document survey findings, measurements, and observations accurately for record keeping and reference

• Calculate quantities and volumes of earthwork, materials and structures based on survey data and design specifications

• Provide accurate measurements for progress tracking, quantity estimation and billing purposes

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of CAD software, GPS & GIS systems

• Candidate must have proven experience in site surveying in EPC construction industry
