Data Integration Developer - ETL/Snowflake DB (5-7 yrs)

Position Title : Data Integration Developer.

Location : Mumbai.

Job Type : FT with VBS.

Shift Timings : 3 pm to 12 am IST.

Basic Purpose :

- To create data ingestion jobs to move data into an existing database.

- To develop procedures to populate those tables according to functional specifications.

- To extract data from that database for downstream reports/processes according to functional specifications.

Responsibilities :

- Build on existing project assets (data model, requirements).

- Work with business analysts to map out and document technical requirements.

- Interpret written business requirements.

- Create- technical specification documents based on functional specifications.

- Perform coding to written technical specifications.

- Develop and execute unit testing procedures.

- Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.

- Modify new and existing stored procedures to allow them to execute as quickly as feasible.

- Work with development group to ensure that all design questions (e.g , application security,.data feeds, etc.) are addressed through the business analysis process.

- Support project tracking and monitoring.

- Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements :

- Highly motivated.

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT related discipline is desirable.

- 5 years demonstrated experience with an ETL tool.

- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks or Python required.

- Experience of database, system design, and technical architecture concepts.

- Experience of Software Development Life Cycle and different development models.

- Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines.

- Flexible attitude with ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
