Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Snowflake Development : Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehousing solutions, including data models, tables, views, and stored procedures.

- ETL/ELT Development : Create and manage ETL/ELT processes to transform, load, and process large datasets into Snowflake.

- Data Integration : Collaborate with data engineers and architects to integrate Snowflake with various data sources, applications, and external systems.

- Performance Tuning : Optimize Snowflake queries and performance, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing data processing time.

- Data Security : Implement data security best practices within Snowflake, ensuring compliance with security protocols and standards.

- Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Snowflake development, data quality, and integration, ensuring the smooth functioning of data systems.

- Documentation : Maintain technical documentation for Snowflake database schema, ETL processes, data pipelines, and related development tasks.

Mandatory/Must-Have Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in Snowflake development, with a proven track record of building scalable data warehousing solutions.

-Expertise in SQL and Snowflake-specific SQL constructs (e., Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Snowflake Stages).

- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.

- Strong understanding of cloud-based data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration.

- Familiarity with Snowflake's architecture and best practices for performance tuning and optimization.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (e., AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage, processing, and integration.

- Data security knowledge related to Snowflake, including encryption, access control, and compliance.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of other data warehousing platforms such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation of data pipeline deployments using CI/CD tools.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation
