Role Overview

We are looking for experienced and compassionate Pet Groomer/Pet stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for animal care and the skills to provide a wide range of grooming services for pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. As a Pet Groomer, you will work closely with pet parents to understand their needs and deliver top-notch grooming services in a safe, clean, and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Grooming Services:

- Perform a variety of grooming services including bathing, hair trimming, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.

- Handle pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with care and patience.

- Style and groom pets based on breed-specific standards or client preferences.

- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized grooming area.

Pet handling and Care:

- Monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or potential health issues and report them to the appropriate personnel.

- Handle pets gently and with empathy to ensure a positive grooming experience.

- Use appropriate grooming tools and products for each pet's needs, ensuring safety and comfort.

Client Interaction:

- Consult with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on grooming needs.

- Address any concerns or questions clients may have about their pet's grooming or overall care.

- Build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent service.

Team Collaboration:

- Work collaboratively with veterinary and support staff to ensure comprehensive pet care.

- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as handling appointments or maintaining records.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a certified grooming program.

- Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats.

- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.

- Commitment to a minimum 2-year tenure with Pet-First.

Working Environment:

-Primarly based at Pet-First hospital, Hyderabad.

- Must be comfortable working with pets that may be anxious, fearful, or energetic.

- Flexible schedule including weekends or holidays as required.

- Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards in the grooming area.
