Role Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Associate Veterinarians to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to pets through advanced diagnostic skills, effective treatment of sick patients, critical care, and emergency services. You will also offer expert advice to pet parents regarding their pets' health, ensuring their well-being and happiness. Working closely with other veterinary professionals and support staff, you will contribute to creating a compassionate and efficient healthcare environment for animals.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Care:
- Conduct thorough history-taking for animals to understand their health issues.
- Examine pets to detect and diagnose diseases or injuries.
- Administer vaccines to prevent common animal diseases.
- Prescribe appropriate medications to treat health conditions.
- Educate pet owners on the benefits of immunization, deworming, and ectoparasite prevention and treatment.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on nutritional care for growing pets, nursing care for pregnant and post-pregnancy bitches, and routine pet care.
- Responsible for In patient care and treatments.

Diagnostic Skills:
- Able to interpret radiographs, blood test reports.

Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with pet parents, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, prognoses, and care instructions for various health conditions.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to clients during challenging situations such as emergencies, trauma, or chronic illness management.

Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients using veterinary software.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in veterinary medicine.

Emergency Care
- Provide emergency care and treatment for critically ill or injured animals.

Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with veterinary assistants and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in staff meetings and pursue continuing education to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary practices and technology.

Qualifications:
-Educational Background:BVSc/MVSc degree from an accredited veterinary college.
-Licensing:Valid veterinary license to practice in India.
- Experience:A minimum of 6 months of experience as a veterinary physician in small animal practice.
- Commitment to a minimum 2-year tenure with Pet-First.

Working Environment:
• Primarily based at Pet-first Hospital, Hyderabad.
• May involve working in shifts including nights, weekends, festivals & public holidays.
