Rewards Manager-IC Role-Bangalore
- As a Rewards Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the compensation and benefits strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances employee experience.
- You will play a critical role in ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Execution:
- Design and implement the overall compensation and rewards strategy to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive salary structures.
- Develop and manage salary bands, incentive programs, and variable pay plans tailored to the startup ecosystem.
- Work with finance and leadership teams to manage the annual compensation budgeting process.
Benefits & Perks Management:
- Oversee the design and execution of employee benefits programs (health insurance, wellness initiatives, leave policies, etc.).
- Continuously review and enhance employee perks to improve engagement and satisfaction.
- Partner with vendors to optimize cost-effective and impactful benefits solutions.
Performance & Recognition Programs:
- Develop and manage performance-linked compensation structures, including bonuses, stock options (ESOPs), and other incentives.
- Create recognition frameworks to reward high performers and reinforce company culture.
- Support the performance management cycle, linking rewards to business and individual performance.
HR Analytics & Compliance:
- Leverage HR analytics to track compensation trends, identify gaps, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to compensation, tax regulations, and labor laws in India.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in total rewards.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-4 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Analytics within a high-growth startup or fast-paced industry.
- Strong understanding of reward frameworks, benchmarking, and compensation structures.
- Experience in designing incentive and ESOP programs.
- Proficiency in HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
