Head Operations

Role & responsibilities:

The Head of Operations-Energy will be responsible for overseeing the efficient generation, distribution, and utilization of energy across the facility. The roles requires strong leadership in managing plant operations, optimizing energy costs, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving sustainability operations.

1. Oversee the end-to-end energy generation and distribution processes.

2. Optimizing energy efficiency and implement cost-saving measures and monitor plant performance and drive operational improvements.

3. Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of energy infrastructure and address breakdowns and emergencies with minimal downtime.

4. To implement renewable energy projects and carbon footprint reduction initiatives.

5. Ensure adherence to environmental, Safety, and legal regulations and drive safety culture and risk mitigation measures in the energy plant.

6. Collaborate with internal departments to align energy operations with overall business needs.

7. Engagement with government bodies, external agencies and auditors for compliance and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• 12+ years of experience in energy/power plant operations, preferably in manufacturing setup.
• Strong expertise in energy generation, distribution and efficiency enhancement.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience in managing large teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance analytics.
