Program Lead/Manager - Energy Performance

Job Profile:

We are seeking a Program Lead - Building Energy Performance to lead our energy demand reduction initiatives by driving a passive and integrated design approach to help decarbonize the operational stage of the built assets. With special focus on residential energy the role will involve leveraging field performance data to support design improvements as well as drive national policy initiatives and the market development of sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Demand Reduction Strategies:
  Drive sustainability initiatives in lowering operation stage demand of energy in the built environment, focusing on practical passive design, equipment efficiency, and other resource conservation measures.
• Benchmark Sustainability Performance:
  Analyse and compare developments and solutions with global best practices to establish workable high performance initiatives that become benchmarks in urbanization and set global standards for sustainability.
• Coordinate with the Net Zero Urban Accelerator:
  Collaborate with the accelerator group to implement on-ground pilot initiatives in the energy demand reduction focus area.
• Project Management:
  Conceptualize, plan, develop, budget, procure, implement, and commission sustainability projects, ensuring effective execution from start to finish.
• Collaboration and Influence: Engage with external partners and stakeholders to share best practices, influence industry standards, and advocate for responsible energy use practices.
• Engage in Continuous Learning:
  Stay updated on sustainability trends and technologies to continually improve Lodhas sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Building Physics or equivalent a from a leading Indian or global institution.
• Proven experience in demand reduction strategies within the built environment.
• Hands-on experience with analytic software tools (energy modeling, airflow analysis, etc.)
• Additional knowledge and experience in low carbon materials and circularity is helpful.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
