Job Description

The Business Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in managing the talent supply chain across Trianz, ensuring optimal alignment between talent demand and supply for various client projects. The individual will lead the resource planning and allocation process, balance workforce needs with business goals, and work closely with delivery teams to ensure that the right skills are available at the right time for project success.

What Youll Be Doing:

Strategic Workforce Planning:
    • Lead the end-to-end talent supply chain process, aligning workforce capabilities with current and future project demands.
    • Develop and execute strategies for resource optimization to ensure efficient use of talent, focusing on utilization, productivity, and project readiness.
    • Collaborate with department heads to forecast talent needs for upcoming projects and manage pipeline visibility across the organization.
Talent Demand & Supply Management:
    • Identify talent gaps by analyzing project demand and available workforce skills, experience, and capacity,
    • Proactively manage resource allocation across Trianz s diverse project portfolio,
    • ensuring the right mix of technical and business skills are deployed to meet client requirements.
    • Partner with HR and recruitment teams to ensure that talent acquisition efforts align with resource planning and address gaps promptly.
Resource Allocation & Optimization:
    • Oversee the allocation of resources to client projects and internal initiatives, ensuring optimal alignment with business priorities.
    • Ensure utilization targets are met by assigning resources effectively while balancing workloads and avoiding overstaffing or underutilization.
    • Maintain flexibility in the talent supply chain by leveraging contractors, consultants, and full-time employees based on the nature of the project.
Collaboration with Delivery Teams:
    • Partner with delivery and project management teams to understand project timelines, required skillsets, and resource challenges.
    • Serve as a key advisor for project managers on talent availability and potential adjustments needed for seamless project delivery.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust resource assignments to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Implement and maintain a resource management system to track talent assignments, availability, skillsets, and overall utilization rates.
    • Provide insights and reporting to senior leadership on resource utilization, pipeline forecasts, and workforce optimization metrics.
    • Use data analytics to improve resource forecasting, improve bench utilization, and ensure proactive adjustments to staffing needs.
Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the central point of contact between project teams, HR, recruitment, and leadership regarding resource availability, demand planning, and capacity management.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure smooth resource planning and deployment.
Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop and implement best practices in resource management and workforce planning.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the talent supply chain to increase responsiveness, flexibility, and alignment with business needs.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development to ensure talent is equipped with the skills required for future demands.
Who you are:
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or talent supply chain roles within the IT, consulting, or professional services industry.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in business, Human Resources, IT, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in resource management tools (e.g., SAP, MS Project, or similar), advanced MS Excel skills, and experience with workforce analytics platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting for resource planning and workforce optimization.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in IT services, digital transformation, or consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and managing resources in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with global resource management, managing distributed teams, and cross- border talent supply chain issues.

  • Engineering from premier institutions.
  • MBA preferred .
