Senior Manager - Loss Prevention and Security

Job Purpose: Planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a variety of occupational health, safety, environmental programs to assure the highest degree of safety for Customers and Employees.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas:

• Streamlining of Stock Take Process at all the Stores and Delivery Centres so that Stock Records are accurate and the Ordering teams can raise purchase orders as per Store requirements thereby giving customers a better buying experience
• Provide the Regional teams with a strategic Loss Prevention and safety direction so that they can deliver effective service to our customers
• Champion and optimize sharing of best practices and cost effective controls at regional level for the safety and security of our customers and employees
• Checking that there is Loss Prevention and Security compliance and effective risk controls in the business
• Providing Loss Prevention and Security capability at regional level
• Coordinating and facilitating business continuity and Crisis Management
• Providing Loss Prevention and Security Leadership, Coaching and Support
• Conduct Due Diligence investigations
• Conduct investigations in serious criminal threats
• Support the team to participate in the company community initiatives
• Brief and train the managers on the new Group Anti-Bribery guidelines to ensure that everyone especially those who manage others are fully aware and committed to the objective of preventing bribery across our business.
• Provide intelligence to the business that clearly identifies key and emerging issues
• To fully engage the Leadership Team in the Loss Prevention Strategy
• To ensure that the Viewpoint results tell that staff feel safe at work
• Take decisions based on analysis of patterns and trends whilst recognising the wider business impact
• Ensure that every Store and Distribution Centre has a protection plan
• Improve the capability of the team by coaching and training them to deliver the Operating Model
