Role
The Business Development Head will lead the companys expansion efforts, oversee sales and marketing strategies, and manage a high-performing team to ensure the organization achieves its business objectives in the travel industry.
Objectives
To spearhead the business growth of the travel company by identifying new markets, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing client relationships to maximize revenue and profitability.
Responsibility
Departmental Activity
Establish and oversee sales targets, ensuring their achievement across regions. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Design and launch innovative travel packages tailored to market demands. Train and mentor the sales and marketing teams to enhance their productivity. Ensure high customer satisfaction through seamless service delivery and relationship management.
Organizational Activity
Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the companys vision and goals. Build and nurture partnerships with corporate clients, tourism boards, and industry stakeholders. Stay updated on travel industry trends and leverage them to identify opportunities for growth. Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums. Collaborate with senior management to align business development efforts with operational capabilities.

Qualification & Requirement
8+ years of experience in business development from travel or hospitality industry. Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Competency Required
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities. Leadership and team management expertise. Proficiency in CRM tools and digital marketing platforms. Strong networking and relationship management skills.
Skills Required
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
