Executive - EHS

Role & responsibilities

• Execute to get implementation of safety policies & procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements, being updated time to time for business continuity.
• To review departmental HIRA & OCP and suggest updating according to requirement.
• Conducting Safety Site Audits to monitor safety compliance at workplace and report unsafe conditions/unsafe act(non-compliance), Behavior Based Safety (BBS) observations, effectiveness of PPEs compliance at site,
• Intervene & Stop the work in case of noticing any unsafe act & condition and take the appropriate actions in co-ordination with concerned department, to ensure the execution of safe activity / operation
• Investigation of Accident/Incident/Near-miss, provide the required guidance / support to the concerned department for the report preparation and tracking compliance for corrective and preventive actions.
• Conducting safety induction & other safety training programs / TBT for contract workers and company employees, based on identified training needs.
• To participate at the mock drills at identified office/ locations in co-ordination with C-I- C, provide the required support/ guidance for report preparation and track the compliance of observations.
• To track the compliance of statutory requirements at the designated area/ office and ensure preparation and submission of Safety & Environment reports within stipulated timeframe
• To execute various safety programs, events like Safety week, Environment Day and EHS promotional activities.
• To co-ordinate with EHS vendors/contractors and ensure that the job is executed as per intended requirements
• To co-ordinate and support for the activities associated with compliance of IMS, BBS and associated activities with EHS function
• To co-ordinate with required stakeholders, departments, contractors, & personnel, and collect, collate and analyze the data/ information and present for decision making to HOD
