The Role:.
As our Wellbeing Manager, you wear several hats:
- One that of a counsellor- " helping employees navigate stress, work-life balance, and emotional challenges.
- You will be the one entrusted to create a safe space for confidential chats, offer practical tools for building resilience, and work with the company to create a culture of well-being.
- You will be the go-to person when you need a listening ear or guidance to thrive at work and beyond!.
You will be a trusted ally, an engaging speaker, and a high-energy advocate for mental wellness in the - workplace: You will lead the charge in formulating and facilitating transformative workshops that are not only informational but also engaging and correspond to the needs of participants.
- You will be the wizard who understands the pulse of people, by regularly conducting employee pulse through surveys, interviews, group discussions.
- We at Thrymr will ensure that you have all the freedom to design, develop, and deliver impactful wellness programs from start to finish, all while working independently and making decisions that are in the best interest of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Build trust and strong interpersonal relationships:
- Approach employees with empathy and energy, and be the friendly face they turn to for advice and support, whether it's a quick check-in or a deeper counseling conversation.
- Break the ice, initiate discussions, and create an environment where employees feel comfortable talking about mental health.
- Foster a sense of trust and openness so employees know they can approach you with anything from personal challenges to professional stress.
- Create informal opportunities for employees to engage, whether through virtual or in-person chats, informal check-ins.
Design & Deliver Engaging Wellbeing Workshops:.
- Own the end-to-end formulation and delivery of wellbeing workshops, from ideation to execution.
- You will be responsible for developing engaging, high-energy sessions that resonate with employees.
- Keep things fresh and dynamic! Be ready to bring creative, plan, and conduct interactive activities to every session to keep employees engaged and coming back for more Counselling & One-on-One Support:.
- Provide confidential, empathetic counseling to employees who may be facing personal or professional stressors.
- Conduct regular well-being check-ins and ensure employees know that they always have someone to turn to.
- Provide practical support and therapeutic interventions, with a focus on building resilience and improving mental well-being.
Drive Engagement & Cultivate a Wellbeing Culture:.
- Serve as a well-being ambassador within the organization, actively encouraging participation in mental health programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team leaders, and HR to weave wellbeing practices into the fabric of our company culture, making it a part of the way we work every day.
- Create excitement and buzz around wellness programs, ensuring employees see them as both valuable and fun!.
Monthly Reporting & Analysis:.
- As a Wellbeing Manager, you will also be responsible for tracking the impact and effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives.
Every month, you will compile a report that includes:.
- Participation Rates: Overview of employee engagement with wellness programs, workshops, and one-on-one counseling sessions.
- Employee Feedback: Insights gathered from surveys, interviews, and informal check-ins, including trends and themes related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Program Effectiveness: Analysis of the outcomes of well-being activities and workshops, what worked, what could be improved, and suggestions for new initiatives.
- Employee Wellbeing Metrics: Key indicators of mental health and stress levels, based on pulse surveys and other wellbeing data, including actionable insights for improvement.
- Success Stories & Challenges: Highlights of individual or team successes related to wellbeing, as well as challenges and potential solutions for addressing them.
- These monthly reports will be shared with leadership, HR, and relevant teams to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with the overall culture and strategy of the company.
- Your ability to analyze data and translate it into meaningful actions will be crucial in driving positive change across the organization.
Qualifications:.
Educational Requirements:.
- MA in Psychology with at least an aggregate of 80%.
- 3+ years of work experience in the well-being, mental health, or employee assistance domain.
If your MA is in Organizational Behaviour/Psychology, certifications in counseling are required.
If your MA is in clinical/counseling, practical experience in an organizational setting is a must.
Skills & Experience:.
- Proven track record in individual counseling, workshops, and mental health advocacy.
- Strong communication skills, ability to suspend judgment, build rapport and trust quickly with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable working independently, with the ability to design and implement wellness programs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated ability to provide practical solutions for stress management, resilience-building, and mental health improvement in a workplace setting.
- Experience in mental health research, program design, or coaching will be a significant advantage.
