Position Summary:
As the Chief Business Development Officer and Co-Founder, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify new market opportunities, establish partnerships, and grow client relationships. This equity-based role provides an opportunity to join the founding team, with an option to invest and earn equity based on your contributions.
Responsibilities:
  • Business Development Strategy : Define and implement a robust business development strategy that aligns with company goals, focusing on long-term revenue generation and market expansion.
  • Market Expansion : Identify new markets and opportunities for growth, including developing strategies to enter new industries and geographies.
  • Partnerships and Alliances : Build strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance service offerings, expand market reach, and support client acquisition.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management : Drive client acquisition efforts, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation : Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop go-to-market plans, optimize the sales funnel, and support efforts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Competitive Analysis : Conduct market and competitor research to understand industry trends, potential disruptors, and client needs, leveraging insights to refine business development strategies.
  • Brand Positioning and Awareness : Work alongside the marketing team to enhance TEMS Tech Solutions brand visibility, positioning it as a trusted partner in technology consulting.
  • Proposal and Contract Negotiations : Oversee proposal development and contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and effective solutions for client needs.
  • Collaborative Leadership : Work closely with the CEO and other C-level leaders to align business development goals with overall company objectives, ensuring a cohesive strategy and shared vision
  • Metrics and Reporting : Define and monitor key business development metrics, providing regular updates on progress and using data-driven insights to optimize strategies
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably within the technology consulting industry
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business development strategies that drive growth and revenue.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset and strategic vision.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships, acquire clients, and enter new markets in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research, assess competition, and drive data-based decision-making.

Note : This role is equity-based with no fixed salary until funding is secured. The CBDO role is ideal for a growth-focused, results-driven leader with a commitment to driving market expansion and client acquisition in a high-growth environment
