Informatica Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process.

Additionally, you will work on Cloud Data Integration, manage business data using the Business 360 Console, implement Multidomain MDM solutions, and handle reference data with Reference 360. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Act as the MDM Subject Matter Expert (SME), implementing Multidomain MDM solutions to ensure accurate, consistent, and trusted data.
• Work on Cloud Data Integration to ensure seamless data flow between cloud and on-premises systems.
• Utilize Business 360 Console to manage and monitor business data.
• Use Reference 360 to manage reference data and ensure its accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain workflows, data models, and integrations for mastering customer, product, and supplier data across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify MDM requirements, design data governance frameworks, and ensure seamless integration of the MDM solution into the organization.
• Implement and automate data cleansing, enrichment, and data mastering processes.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met by leveraging the full capabilities of Informatica MDM solutions.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the MDM platform, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed.
• Define agile epics and product features with business stakeholders and translate them into technical user stories for the delivery team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working with Informatica MDM.
• Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-native MDM solutions and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in scripting with SQL, Python, or similar languages for data manipulation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data integration from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data pipeline optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Certifications in Informatica MDM or related technologies.
• Familiarity with API development and RESTful services for data integration.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in working within Agile environments and utilizing DevOps tools for continuous integration.
