Senior Demand Analyst

The mission for the Senior Demand Analyst role is to ensure accurate and reliable demand forecasts that drive effective business decisions and optimize supply chain operations. This involves leveraging data analysis and market insights to anticipate customer needs. minimize inventory costs and enhance overall business performance. By providing actionable recommendations and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Senior Demand Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning demand planning with the company's strategic goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Demand Forecasts Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to create accurate demand forecasts, Continuously refine forecasts based on real-time data.
• Enhance Forecasting Processes: Improve existing forecasting processes through strategic system integration and advanced analytics. Own the setting of IBP Demand Module.
• Develop optimum Portfolio segmentation process & tailored demand planning/statistical modelling
• Analyze Customer Data: Examine customer point-of-sale (POS) data to identify sales trends, seasonal patterns, and emerging demand shifts. Use insights from data analysis.
• Monitor Forecast Performance: Track forecast accuracy using performance metrics such as Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and bias. Implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies or gaps in forecast accuracy.
• Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Apply industry best practices to improve forecasting and demand planning processes.
• Support Strategic Planning: Assist the Demand Planning Director and Sales Channel Leader in developing a 24-month rolling Demand Plan. Contribute to long-term strategic planning and decision-making
• Provide Reports and Presentations: Prepare regular reports and presentations for sales leadership highlighting risks, opportunities and actionable recommendations. Communicate findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, demand planning and supply chain teams to align forecasts with business objectives and promotional activities. Ensure that demand forecasts support overall business strategies and goals.
