Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of E-Commerce Operations to oversee and streamline the operational aspects of our e-commerce business in India. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the end-to-end e-commerce processes, from supply chain management to fulfillment, ensuring that business objectives are met efficiently. This is a strategic and operational role reporting directly to the E-Commerce Operations Head within a flat hierarchy that emphasizes collaboration and decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Marketplace Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for selling products on marketplace platforms, including identifying target markets, setting growth objectives, and assessing competition. Ensure alignment of inventory, pricing, and marketing strategies to maximize sales.
Inventory and Pricing Management:
- Monitor inventory levels across marketplaces to ensure adequate stock availability. Collaborate with the Procurement and Supply Chain teams to address stock gaps and pricing strategies.
Relationship Management (Marketplace & Clients):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both marketplace account managers and key clients. Negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and identify opportunities for preferred placement or promotional activities. Schedule regular client check-ins to gather feedback and focus on upselling and cross-selling new channels and business opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Key Account Management, Supply Chain, Advertisement, and Finance, to ensure marketplace operations are integrated with overall business goals.
Revenue and Profitability Optimization:
- Continuously monitor sales, profitability, and performance metrics. Implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and ensure optimal performance across all channels.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team. Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Stay updated on marketplace policies and ensure compliance with all terms of service, listing rules, and advertising policies to prevent penalties or account suspensions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize performance metrics across all teams.
