Senior Manager/AGM - Procurement - Paper (10-15 yrs)

Market Intelligence:
- Build a comprehensive mapping of the value chain of all commodities and their ecosystem, understanding of Trade agreements/ barriers.
- Continuously deepen understanding of commodity exposures and market fundamentals, to comprehend both short- and long-term market trends and developments.
- Translate market knowledge and analytics into monthly commodity reports and price forecasts.
- Track sustainability landscape view and integrating sustainability into upstream strategy
Sourcing Strategy:
- Develop a comprehensive category sourcing strategy for direct sourcing for materials.
- Work in collaboration with Plants, PMG & define ways to implement or benchmark materials (prices or specs) used in different regions.
- Assess arbitrage opportunities for sourcing.
- Identify & lead projects in commodities under scope working closely with Category Teams, Suppliers & internal Stakeholders.
Risk & Spend Management:
- Actively monitor trends in markets and ensure quick response to changes or new opportunities.
- Develop strategies to Manage exposure for commodities managed.
- Based on thorough volatility and value-at-risk analysis, design revised risk policies
If you have these then, you can do it:-
- Minimum 10 years of Procurement experience. (Laminate / Paper Industry)
- Proven track record handling categories and delivering strategic improvements.
- Outstanding financial acumen. Knowledge of import processes is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- Hands on Experience in SAP MM & PP Module.
- Prior experience in Paper ( Kraft & Design) Procurement is must
