Job Title: Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Taj Skyline Ahmedabad, IHCL
Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and maintaining business for Taj Skyline Ahmedabad. The role requires proactive sales efforts, client relationship management, and effective implementation of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts.
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to potential clients.
Handle corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), leisure, and other market segments as assigned.
Work closely with travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners to maximize revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through personalized service and follow-ups.
Address client queries and concerns promptly to enhance retention.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to implement pricing strategies and promotions.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Work closely with the marketing, reservations, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and revenue generation.
Prepare and present sales reports to the management team.
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury hotels.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong network in the corporate, travel, and MICE segments is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales software (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
High level of professionalism and customer-centric approach.
