Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for Reduction of warranty cost and complaints for all markets
• Root cause analysis of field complaints and implementation of solution through CFT approach.
• Interaction with R&D, Suppliers and Manufacturing plant for solution development for field failures related to design, Parts and assembly process issues.
• Drive Zero leak projects and ensure proactive actions in new product
• Field visits to obtain data on nature of failure, possible root causes and actual customer requirements
• Responsible for preparation of VCS/MIS regarding warranty cost & complaints.
• Preparation of SBM Product pillar Summary for J Quest Monthly Review Meeting
• Guiding/ Supporting the team members for effective problem resolution through TIPS methodology/ DMAIC Approach.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with Fulltime B.E (Mechanical Engineering) with experience in Quality Assurance on Field/warranty failure analysis, identification of root cause solution, and implementation through systematic problem-solving methods. Need to have specialization in six sigma Green belt/Black belt, Product Reliability prediction, Problem solving skills and analytical techniques

• Ability to handle the customer complaints specifically for Hydraulics and 3-point linkages.
• Basic knowledge of Tractors, Farm equipment's and its applications.
• Knowledge in Hydraulics aggregate parts & its Failure analysis
• Knowledge in Reliability Prediction and Improvements.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
