Lead - Internal Audit (ASAP joinees)

Role & responsibilities

The Lead IT Auditor, as an integral member of the Global Internal Audit function, will perform testing to support Technology, Information Security/Cyber Security, and Application Audits. Testing will encompass assessing controls at the design and operational effectiveness levels. The role involves articulating findings through written and verbal communication.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform General Controls (ITGCs Access/Security, Change Management and Computer Operations) as a part of IT Sarbanes-Oxley/COSO compliance and IT Application controls.
• Perform User Access Review (UAR), and other audits on IT, Information Security/ Cyber Security domains. This includes supporting integrated audits and system implementation reviews.
• Assess business systems/processes to identify key control points and risks.
• Document narratives and/or flowcharts.
• Successfully execute all phases of the audit process for moderately complex projects. Draft audit conclusions and discuss potential issues with stakeholders.

Additionally, the role involves:

• Collaborate on special projects within the global audit team such as audit planning, board report preparation and emerging issues to the team.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors to ensure proper audit coverage, eliminate duplicative efforts and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities.
• Provide IT audit and consulting services for applications residing on a distributed global network and in a multi-platform environment (Windows, UNIX operating systems, Oracle, SQL databases, ERP-PeopleSoft Finance/HCM, SAP SF, Ariba, Concur etc.)
• Document audit work papers, identify internal control deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

Furthermore, the Lead IT Auditor is expected to:

• Establish and maintain trust and relationship with internal/external stakeholders and with team members.
• Understand stakeholder needs, resolve issues, and consistently meet expectations.

Overall, this role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and meaningful recommendations for continuous improvement

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors in Information Systems or related field.
• Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
• Relevant prior 6+ years IT Audit experience (either in consulting or in industry).
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in applying the principles of internal auditing in accounting, financial and operational environments.
• Work experience at a global Big 4” firm and/or large global organizations.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus.
