Job Summary:

Surya International Enterprise Private Limited is seeking an experienced Collection Manager to oversee government project collections in the EPC sector. The candidate will be responsible for managing receivables, ensuring timely payment collection from government clients, resolving disputes, and improving cash flow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the collection process for government contracts and EPC projects.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely payments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, finance departments, and project stakeholders to facilitate smooth collections.
• Ensure compliance with government payment terms, invoicing regulations, and contract agreements.
• Monitor aging reports and provide regular updates on outstanding dues to senior management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and project managers, to address and resolve payment delays or disputes.
• Negotiate with government agencies and clients to expedite outstanding payments.
• Ensure documentation and records are maintained accurately for audit and compliance purposes.
• Improve collection efficiency and reduce the company’s outstanding receivables.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8-15 years of experience in collection management within an EPC company handling government payments.
• Strong understanding of government invoicing, tendering processes, and payment cycles.
• Expertise in managing large-scale receivables and resolving complex payment disputes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/CRM software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict collection targets.
