Manager Sales & Operations Planning

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate with respective functions/BUs in preparing bottom-up monthly sales/ margin plans, within top-down defined targets defined by demand planning & financial planning teams
• Ensure all functional & local nuances & inputs are incorporated in the plans
• Identify and highlight key enablers for achieving the plans prepare mitigation plans along with respective stakeholders
• Act as SPOCs for the sales plans cascade to downstream functions such as supply chain, customer service etc.
• Coordinate with stakeholders within the planning function and other business teams & functions for prepare the sales plans
• Help define targets for levers such as pricing, discounts, incentives in order to ensure plan achievement
• Use the planning exercise to identify key risks to the budget and overall business goals of Croma

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong analytical skills ability to create financial models, handle large volumes of data
• Comfort in using Microsoft Excel, and willingness to learn and use new-age tools
• Program management skills with the ability to quickly identify risks and independently take necessary actions to mitigate the same
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to understand the big-picture and business nuances
• Experience handling and guiding junior resources

Previous experience in sales & operations planning is preferred but not mandatory.

• Primary responsibility for Forecast accuracy
• Joint responsibility for key business metrics (such as Sales, Margins etc.) along with the respective business teams

Joint responsibility for Budget (AOP) achievement
