Asst. Manager / Manager - Supply Chain Planning

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in demand forecast of sale to take it as an input in Raw material and packaging material planning. 
• Long-term, medium-term raw material and packaging material planning and providing input to purchase team for delivery basis lead time and avoid stock out. 
• Conceptualize inventory norms for raw material and packaging material basis MOQ, Lead time and variability in demand/ production.
• Establish RM/PM planning in ERP. 
• Establish planning cycle of demand forecasting/ production planning to design planning/ scheduling and ordering of long/ medium lead time RM/PM 
• Understand current vendors and develop new vendors to ensure optimum inventory, lower material cost and zero stock out of production due to non-availability of material. 
• Develop baseline manufacturing order basis FSR/ PO basis current capacity minimum production run and higher efficiency. 
• Establish and develop new product delivery planning system to ensure timely delivery of new product through right first-time delivery of RM/ PM.
• Work closely with the logistics team for supply planning of various products
• Collaborate with 3rd party teams to ensure fitment of production cycles and get desired product mix manufactured within stipulated time frame.
• Work with 3rd parties for monthly reconciliation of production as well as commercial terms.
• Generate saving potential in terms of conversion cost / logistics cost / Procurement cost through coordination across departments.

Must haves:

• 3 - 6 year of experience in Supply Chain Planning.
• Good exposure in FMCG industry.
