Position Overview :

We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join us as the Head of Engineering and AI / CTO. In this role, you will lead our engineering efforts while overseeing AI product development and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Engineering Leadership :

- Lead and manage all aspects of development across Co. portals and associated teams.

- Collaborate closely with product managers to ensure successful project and product delivery.

2. AI Product Development and Deployment :

- Oversee the end-to-end management of AI product development lifecycle from concept to deployment at scale on cloud platforms.

- Drive the integration of machine learning algorithms into AI products, ensuring robust performance and scalability.

3. Technology Strategy and Architecture :

- Design and implement scalable and high-performance tech architectures for AI-driven systems.

- Research and evaluate open-source technologies to enhance product capabilities and performance.

4. Team Management and Mentoring :

- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on emerging technologies and current industry trends.

5. Infrastructure Management and DevOps :

- Manage infrastructure and oversee deployment processes using advanced AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure efficient use of resources and implementation of best practices in infrastructure management.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with AI product teams, executive leadership, and research teams to align engineering efforts with company goals and AI product strategies.

7. Technical Expertise :

- Demonstrate proficiency in algorithm design, AWS services, Docker, React Native, CI/CD pipelines, and databases like Postgres and MySQL.

- Deploy machine learning algorithms effectively within AI products.

8. Project Management and Process Optimization :

- Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery within timelines and budgets.

- Implement and optimize processes for code reviews, infrastructure management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Alumni of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) with a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

- Deep understanding of web protocols, stack, and infrastructure management.

- Proven track record of leadership in technology and AI, preferably in an organisation whose products service millions of users

- Strong hands-on experience with Devops and Infra management, including AWS, Kubernetes and building scalable tech solutions

- Strong hands-on experience with AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.

- Experience in building and managing high-performing teams; ability to inspire and motivate others.

- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communicator and influencer, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
