Area Sales Manager - West Bengal (HQ - Kolkata) :
This is a full-time role for an Area Sales Manager at Baidyanath Ayurveda. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities in their designated area, developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with customers, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. This role is an on-site position located in Kolkata.
Responsibilities include:
- Motivate and support sales teams to achieve set goals/targets.
- Undertaking on job training to the sales team and doing joint field work .
- Organize conference calls/meetings during which sales activities are discussed and appropriate decisions taken
- Present periodic reports to company directors on sales operations
- Analyse and interpret sales records and customer accounts
- Carry out research to identify new sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience of 10+ yrs. in sales and business development ( At least 5 Yrs in Ayurvedic / OTC company/ FMCG)
- Must have exposure to entire WB market
- Must have the exposure to work in SFA / Handheld device.
- Strong soft skills and data management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities( At least 5 yrs. as a team leader managing on roll people).
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Good understanding of the Ayurvedic industry and products
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel within the designated area
