Senior Executive Finance & Accounts

Role & responsibilities

• Financial Operations:
  
• Manage direct and indirect purchase processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Process travel claims and book bills accurately for timely reimbursements.
• Handle GST-related tasks, including filing returns and ensuring compliance with GST laws.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly TDS & TCS reports.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

• Reporting and Analysis:
  
• Conduct monthly book closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage provision accounting and ensure timely reversals.
• Perform inventory analysis, including variance analysis and stock-taking activities.
• Prepare overhead cost reports and support cost optimization initiatives.

• Accounting and Compliance:
  
• Maintain Fixed Asset (FA) registers and ensure FA registration compliance.
• Conduct bank-related activities, including payments, receipts, and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

• General Support:
  
• Perform day-to-day finance-related tasks and provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:
  
• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
• Masters degree in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA in Finance is preferred.

• Experience:
  
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing MNC.
• Current designation as Executive Finance or an equivalent role.

• Technical Expertise:
  
• Proficiency in TDS, TCS, GST compliance, and monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Strong knowledge of provision accounting, monthly book closing, and FA management.
• Experience in inventory analysis, variance reporting, and stock-taking procedures.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
