Sr. Accounts & Finance Manager

Job Overview:

The Senior Accounts & Finance Manager will lead the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This role involves overseeing financial planning, managing cash flow, and providing strategic insights to senior management. You will lead the accounts team, drive financial performance, and ensure the companys financial health, making a key impact on business decisions and growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Project-Specific Financial Management: Prepare and track project-wise financial models, allocate funds, monitor cash inflows.
2. Cost Control & Procurement Oversight: Approve contractor payments, set cost benchmarks, implement ERP-based cost tracking.
3. RERA & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure RERA compliance, liaise with auditors, work on legal structuring for tax efficiency.
4. Sales Receivables & Payment Collection: Monitor milestone-based payments, implement collection policies, track defaults.
5. Taxation & Accounting Controls: Optimize GST and income tax, ensure timely filing, conduct reconciliation audits.
6. Financial Automation & Reporting: Implement ERP systems, develop monthly MIS reports, maintain project finance tracking.
7. Audit & Risk Management: Conduct periodic audits, implement financial controls, manage investment risks.
8. Stores & Inventory Audit: Conduct physical verification, cross-check invoices, track pilferage and wastage.
9. Vendor Payment Audit: Verify invoices, ensure milestone-based payments, prevent overbilling.
10. Compliance & Taxation on Vendor Payments: Ensure TDS/GST deductions, verify RERA-mandated expenses.
11. Fraud Prevention & Risk Management: Identify duplicate invoices, track vendor dependencies, prevent cost manipulation.
12. Customer Payment Monitoring: Track outstanding dues, implement risk alerts, coordinate recovery actions.
13. Contractor Advance Payments: Ensure milestone-based payments, verify past work before new advances.
14. Utility & Fixed Cost Optimization: Audit electricity/water/maintenance costs, negotiate contracts.
15. Legal & Litigation Oversight: Track legal expenses, settle disputes strategically, maintain compliance records.
16. Employee Payroll & Expense Control: Audit payroll, track reimbursements, implement performance-based incentives.
17. Vendor & Subcontractor Performance: Maintain scorecards, blacklist non-compliant vendors, negotiate terms.
18. ERP & Digital Transformation: Oversee ERP system implementation, automate alerts for financial risks.
19. Property Leasing & Rental Income: Optimize rental revenue, track lease renewals, reduce vacancy rates.
20. Insurance & Risk Management: Ensure insurance coverage, review policies, coordinate claims processing.

Requirements:

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Real estate firm experience preferred
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
