Job Overview:
As a Senior Interior Designer at Amjaad Holding, you will lead and oversee interior design projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors. Your expertise in design principles, project management, and client relations will drive successful outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of creativity and quality. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and a keen eye for innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead interior design projects, ensuring that design objectives are met within the client s budget and time frame.
- Develop creative and functional design concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces.
- Produce detailed design presentations, mood boards, and 3D visualizations to present to clients.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervise and mentor junior designers and design assistants.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Ensure that all projects comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Provide client-facing presentations and effectively communicate design concepts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Interior Design or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 15+ years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a focus on high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of completed projects.
- Expert knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture design.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of local regulations and building codes in Oman.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Must be currently based in Oman or willing to relocate.
