Job Description

Job Title: MEP Draftsman - Revit Experience

Company: Amjaad Holding

Location: Oman

Salary: 650 OMR/month

Job Description:

Amjaad Holding, a leading company in Oman, is looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman with expertise in Revit to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Oman, offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with 7 to 10 years of experience in MEP drafting and design.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings, layouts, and schematics using Revit and other drafting tools.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate MEP designs into detailed drawings that align with project requirements.
Produce high-quality drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards while preparing and reviewing drawings.
Conduct revisions and updates to MEP designs based on feedback from engineers, clients, and project stakeholders.
Assist in the creation of project documentation, including material schedules, installation details, and coordination drawings.
Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs to ensure seamless integration of all building systems.
Provide drafting support for project team members and assist with technical queries related to MEP drawings.
Maintain organized records of drawings and project documents, ensuring version control and accurate tracking.
Participate in regular project meetings and collaborate with internal teams to address any issues or concerns regarding MEP systems.
Conduct site visits, when necessary, to ensure that the design is being implemented according to the drawings and specifications.

Key Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
7 to 10 years of professional experience as an MEP Draftsman, with a focus on Revit software.
Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and other drafting software (AutoCAD, Navisworks).
Solid understanding of MEP systems, building services, and construction documentation.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Oman or the GCC region is preferred.
Ability to produce clear, accurate, and high-quality drawings and designs.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and a strong sense of responsibility.
