Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Presales cum Bid Proposal Manager to lead bid management, proposal development, and presales activities for our airport and aviation solutions.The role involves engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, preparing winning proposals, and supporting the sales team in closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presales Activities: Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify and qualify business opportunities in the airport and aviation sector.Analyze customer requirements, RFPs, RFIs, and tenders to develop competitive solutions. Work with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) to craft value-driven proposals.Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs for clients. Maintain a repository of standard proposals, case studies, and best practices for efficient bid management.
  • Bid & Proposal Management: Own the end-to-end bid management process, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.Develop well-structured responses to RFPs, RFIs, EOIs, and other solicitations from government and private entities.Liaise with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, legal, and finance) to gather input for proposals.Ensure compliance with bid requirements, including pricing strategies, risk assessment, and contract terms. Coordinate with external partners, subcontractors, and consortiums in joint bid submissions. Conduct competitive analysis to position proposals effectively against market trends.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Interaction: Develop strong relationships with airport authorities, aviation regulatory bodies, and key decision-makers. Engage with clients to clarify technical and commercial queries related to bids.Support the sales team during contract negotiations and presentations.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor s/master s degree in engineering, Aviation Management, Business, or related fields. 6-8 years of experience in presales, bid management, or business development in the aviation/airport industry.
  • Strong understanding of airport systems, ground handling, and smart airport technologies.
  • Experience with government and public sector procurement processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in proposal writing.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical and commercial requirements and develop compelling proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, bid management tools, and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with airport projects or global aviation clients. Knowledge of ICAO, IATA, ACI, and other aviation regulatory frameworks
  • Prior experience in managing bids for large-scale airport infrastructure and IT solutions.
