Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities :

1. Event Operations:

• Oversee the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet events.
• Ensure events are executed according to client specifications, company standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with other departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance) for smooth operations.

2. Staff Management:

• Supervise and manage banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assign duties and ensure staff are prepared for events.
• Foster a positive team environment to enhance productivity and morale.

3. Client Relations:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events.
• Ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

4. Operational Efficiency:

• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability of events.
• Maintain proper maintenance and storage of banquet equipment.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service.
• Conduct pre-event inspections and post-event evaluations.
• Implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

6. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Train staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

7. Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare detailed event reports, including feedback, financial performance, and operational insights.
• Use data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
