Assistant Manager Buyer -Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

* Effective follow up with vendors

* Timely material receipt & reporting

* Effective negotiation with vendors on techno-commercial basis

* Work with other departments such as Engineering , Quality and Manufacturing Plant, etc.

* Inventory control in line with direction from superior..

* Timely input to superiors for any non-performance at vendor end / critical matters.

* Cost control within Budget

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Supply chain.

Ability to analyze and determine supplier capability and capacity in order to make sound sourcing decisions.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and standards in order to clearly communicate requirements.
