Executive/ Sr. Executive- Events

Job Purpose

To oversee & organise events that make an impact to a target audience.

3. Key Accountability

Strategic

Responsible to ensure events are successful & cost effective, paying attention to budget & time constraint.

Operational

Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.

Come up with suggestions to enhance the events success.

• Manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation.

Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

• Monitors the progress of the planning and execution of each task that has to do with the event
• Tries as much as possible to have a clear understanding of what the event is all about from the host i.e. how exactly he/she wants the event to be organized (taste of the client)
• Serves as a link between the event (actually the host of the event) and external bodies
• Provides recruitment and training/coaching for the organizing committee for the purpose of an event
• Development of general event management policies
• Supervision of the production process of an event
• Make sure that staff and work personnel at the event adhere to the management policies that were put in place to minimize hiccups during the course of the event.

Lead promotional activities for the event.

Approve all aspects before the day of the event.

Research & Development

Fostering research and development culture

Financial and Budget

Preparing Budget & ensuring adherence.

Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers, technical team etc.)

Coordinate all operations.
