- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Assistant Vice President - Sales to lead and grow our sales team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and developing and executing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training.
- Set ambitious sales targets and track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales team members.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals.
- Identify and capitalize on new market trends and opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement sales processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools to manage leads, track opportunities, and forecast sales.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- 6+ years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, including prospecting, lead qualification, needs analysis, and closing techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
