Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a deep understanding of the IT staffing industry.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting related to our staffing operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
- Manage client billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Monitor and analyze staffing project budgets, expenses, and profitability, providing insights to optimize financial - performance.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the IT staffing division, including variance analysis and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices within the staffing division.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for staffing projects, incorporating insights from historical data and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies within the IT staffing division.
- Support external audits and regulatory inquiries related to staffing operations, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
- Mentor and coach junior accounting staff within the IT staffing division, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years of experience in the IT staffing industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with demonstrated experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
