Senior Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities: The following tasks delineate the scope of the Senior Accountant position, with applicability varying based on the dynamic needs of the business.

Business:

- Oversee the validation and processing of purchase invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to internal controls.

- Conduct comprehensive reconciliation of bank accounts and company credit cards to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Prepare and manage the bi-weekly payment run, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.

- Implement and oversee credit control processes, including the monthly issuance of statements of accounts to clients.

- Supervise the monthly reconciliation of timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate reporting of asset values and depreciation.

- Execute monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

- Assist in the generation and submission of sales invoices, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

- Collaborate in the preparation of month-end reports, year-end accounts, and audit documentation, contributing to the overall financial reporting process.

- Ensure all financial practices are conducted in full compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and company policies.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA/CPA or other relevant certifications are preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a transaction-heavy finance environment, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
