Estimation Engineer Civil

Job Summary:

The Estimation Engineer - Civil will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, analysing engineering drawings, and estimating costs related to industrial building projects such as power plants and steel plants. The role involves cost analysis, resource allocation, risk assessment, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure competitive and accurate cost proposals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, estimate quantities, and costs for industrial projects from design drawings.
  
• Conduct rate analysis and estimation for civil works, including industrial construction and infra projects
  
• Develop detailed estimates based on project requirements, considering material specifications, labour costs, and other relevant factors.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate estimating of complex projects involving multiple disciplines
  
• Provide expert advice on tender estimation strategies to clients.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial building estimation, rate analysis, and costing.
• Proficiency in estimation software and ERP systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-7 years of experience in estimation engineering or a related field (civil engineering background preferred).
  
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil
  
• Strong understanding of industrial and infra construction
  
• Proficiency in preparing bills of quantity (BOQ) using standard templates; knowledge of rate analysis software an advantage.
