Role & responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales (AVP) to drive and scale our company's business in the Indian BFSI vertical. This is a core senior leadership position, where you will be responsible for rapidly growing the business in this region. As the AVP of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing a high-performing inside sales/sales development team.
This role requires a strategic leader with a strong operational background who can integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize lead generation, develop sales pipelines through advanced prospecting techniques, and leverage data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing teams and scaling growth in a SaaS or B2B technology environment.
You will work closely with the CEO and Delivery Leaders to build the company into a world-class, globally recognized organization. This position offers the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the companys future success.
Lead sales efforts to rapidly grow the companys business in the Indian market (Pan India).
Position the company as a preferred brand in the BFSI vertical and achieve trusted partner status with clients.
Preferred candidate profile
BE / MBA / PG with 7 to 10years of experience in IT Solutions, IT Services, IT Application Development, or IT Consulting sales in the Indian market.
Proven track record in selling IT services, products, and solutions to large enterprise clients.
Extensive experience in constructing and selling large deals.
Expertise in value-based technology solution selling and consultative selling.
Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments and the challenges faced by CIOs in the digital era.
Experience working across various sectors, including Public Sector, Private Sector (MNCs), Family-Owned Businesses, and GCC.
A deep understanding of the Indian market, including the ability to conduct sales reviews and proactively take corrective steps.
Established relationships with CXOs across sectors and globally.
Demonstrated ability to create product partnerships and navigate both business and technical conversations.
Pre-sales experience is a plus.

Results-oriented with a go-getter attitude.
High energy and the ability to work well under pressure.
Outgoing, sociable, and a strong networker, with excellent relationships with CIOs of large enterprise clients.
Strong marketing skills.
A minimum of 10 years of experience working for an IT services company
